For years I lived in rooms I loved during the day and avoided after dark. Like most rented places, every room came with one ceiling light and one switch — everything fully on, or fully off. The big light flattened every evening: too harsh to relax under, too fixed to move, never where I actually was.

I tried what everyone tries — string lights, cheap lamps, smart bulbs that needed an app just to feel calm. Nothing gave me the thing I actually wanted: control. Light that follows your evening — reading on the sofa, dinner at the table, winding down low and warm — without an electrician, an outlet, or a cable trailing across the floor.

So I built it. WILLUME exists because lighting is personal. The room shouldn’t decide how your evening feels — you should. Everything we make puts the control of light back in your hands: where it sits, how warm it glows, how bright it burns. One lamp at a time, we’re switching off the big light.
